Patients who exhibit osteoarthritis on x-ray may not need a total hip replacement to relieve pain and restore function of the hip. The alternative option is Hip Resurfacing (BHR). hip resurfacing has been designed to address patients with mild to moderate osteoarthritis, and provides a more conservative and less traumatic alternative to total hip replacement. This technique provides the younger more active patient unmatched quality of life. |
